Versatile best describes our horse program.  We may sort cattle in the morning, rope that

afternoon, then practice the barrel pattern all in the same day.  We like to build a good

foundation on young horses by using them in our cattle operation.  After we get them

broke to our liking, we take them to the arena.  Our goal is to keep our kids mounted.

We strive to ride and produce horses that are athletic, intelligent, and gentle but still soft.

We have selected horses from the Cowan Ranch in South Dakota and 6666’s Ranch in

Texas to fit the bill.  You can buy a horse from either operation and know exactly

what you are getting.  They use the horses they raise.  Our horses from these ranches

include Driftwood Ike, Tuff Time Peppy, Tanquery Gin, and Natural Enterprise bloodlines.

We have a nice set of mares that we plan to prove, and then use to produce more of the

same.  We have crossed them back on horses like PG Dry Fire, Cowboy Smarts, and

Hollywood Heat; horses that can do something and that have produced winners.

Playin Effortlessly is sired by PG Dry Fire, a money-earning son of Playgun. He has earned over $100,000 in the reined cowhorse and is proving to be an outstanding sire. She is out of Naturally a Six who is an own daughter of Special Effort. This cowhorse - racehorse cross should be a very capable and versatile prospect. The mare is very willing to please, extremely easy to be around & gentle; but don't let her fool you. She has explosive excelleration and can really run. She is very broke and has had a job her entire life. She has been many miles checking and shipping cattle. We have also doctored quite a few cattle outside, but have not roped on her in the arena yet. I have slowly started her on the barrels and she is going nicely. This mare has a world of potential.

Corina (Smooth Rose Wood) is practically a member of our family.  Madison won the

All-Around in the Speed Events at the District 1 4-H with her this past year.  This mare is solid
