Versatile best describes our horse program.  We may sort cattle in the morning, rope that

afternoon, then practice the barrel pattern all in the same day.  We like to build a good

foundation on young horses by using them in our cattle operation.  After we get them

broke to our liking, we take them to the arena.  Our goal is to keep our kids mounted.

We strive to ride and produce horses that are athletic, intelligent, and gentle but still soft.

We have selected horses from the Cowan Ranch in South Dakota and 6666’s Ranch in

Texas to fit the bill.  You can buy a horse from either operation and know exactly

what you are getting.  They use the horses they raise.  Our horses from these ranches

include Driftwood Ike, Tuff Time Peppy, Tanquery Gin, and Natural Enterprise bloodlines.

We have a nice set of mares that we plan to prove, and then use to produce more of the

same.  We have crossed them back on horses like PG Dry Fire, Cowboy Smarts, and

Hollywood Heat; horses that can do something and that have produced winners.

SR Prissy Fire is a really nice bay mare with her

whole life ahead of her.  She is a big stout mare

with around 90 rides.  She sells bred to Hollywood Wars, a performance son of Hollywood Heat.

Prissy herself comes from the Cowan Ranch.

She has some of their stellar mares close up in

her pedigree, not to mention Cowan Stallions

PC Fire and Smoke and Boon Dox John.

She should produce awesome rope or barrel

horse prospects with a pedigree like this.

Sixes Circle is our premier brood mare and is

bred to Natural Enterprise for a 2009 colt.

She is by Tanquery Gin and has earned AQHA

Open Performance ROM with 45 total points.

Sixes Circle was the 2000 AQHA World

Show Junior Heeling and Tie Down qualifier.

Special thanks to Mike & Jamie Oden!

PC Jakota Frost is a versatile horse

that is used for Team Roping,

Playdays, and cattle work.

He is good tempered, and we

trust both of our kids on him.

He is pictured first with Madison at

the District 1  4-H show and her

 breakaway calf, and again with

Kreese at the XIT Junior Rodeo.

Corina (Smooth Rose Wood) is practically a member

of our family.  Madison won the All-Around in

the Speed Events at the District 1 4-H with her this

past year.  This mare is solid in barrels, poles,

team roping, and is all around using horse.

We are proud to share with you

Corina's accomplishments and the

many joys she has brought our family.
